  • $86,815 pa + 12% super (level 4)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Project Officer - Local Community Infrastructure, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Project Officer - Local Community Infrastructure you will provide input into the development of the project scope for a three-year Local Community Infrastructure Program, supporting communication of project progress updates to Councillors, for multidisciplinary projects including roads, drainage, canals, foreshores, parks and recreation facilities. You'll also:

  • Conduct research and analysis and contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including the investigation of alternate solutions
  • Undertake preconstruction activities such as project scope development and initiation
  • Support the preparation of concept designs and estimates
  • Provide routine advice to key stakeholders
  • Support the development and administration of the annual budget
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

About you

We're looking for your experience in project management and construction, and project initiation, development and planning for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You'll also bring:

  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices, and application of current construction legislation, Australian standards and
  • Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Research and analysis skills and the ability to prepare project documents, design drawings, specifications, schedules
  • Previous experience providing routine advice on project related matters
  • Actively contribute to fostering a healthy, inclusive and well-connected workplace
  • Degree or diploma in architecture, civil engineering, or project management or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Current C class driver’s licence required.
