Advanced Shade Systems is a leading manufacturer of Shade Systems. We are a small business located in Capalaba who have developed a reputation for professionalism and customer focus.

We currently have a position vacant for an Installer / Machine Operator. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years prior experience in a construction role. This position can be physically demanding at times so being fit, strong and healthy would be an advantage.

You will be expected to perform the following duties:

Install shade sails and structures in line with Advanced Shade Systems policies and procedures.

Machine operating including front end loader and excavator.

Medium Rigid license would be advantageous - we can assist with this if necessary.

Correctly read and interpret design drawings and specification.

Demonstrate an understanding of the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

To be considered for this role you would be expected to have:

Positive “can do- will do” attitude.

Construction white card.

Licence to perform high risk work – boom elevated work platforms.

Current manual drivers’ licence (medium rigid desirable).

Hard working, reliable and honest.

This is a full-time role.
