About the role

Coastal Demolitions is seeking an experienced Demolition Machine Operator to join our team in Carrara, Queensland. This full-time role will involve operating a range of demolition equipment to safely and efficiently carry out building and structure demolition projects.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate demolition machinery such as excavators, skid steer loaders, and demolition attachments

Carry out demolition work according to project plans and safety procedures

Inspect and maintain demolition equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work closely with the demolition team to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines

Identify and report any hazards or issues to the site supervisor

Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Demolition Machine Operator

Demonstrated proficiency in operating a range of demolition equipment

Strong understanding of demolition techniques and safety protocols

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

Valid driver's licence and construction industry tickets/certifications
