We’re Everlast Retaining Walls and Landscapes, a proud locally owned business based in Lake Macquarie, known for our commitment to high-quality structural landscaping and specialist retaining wall construction.

Due to a strong pipeline of projects across Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas, we’re looking to bring an experienced and qualified tradesman with extensive experience in all types of retaining walls into our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the owner of the business, contributing your skills to deliver structurally sound retaining walls and supporting the supervision of a small, capable team on site.

This is a full-time position for someone who’s confident working independently and loves getting stuck into a good build. You’ll be focused on retaining wall construction (concrete sleeper, timber, sandstone), while supporting other landscaping tasks as needed.

About the role:

Construct and install all types of retaining walls

Supervise and guide a small onsite team

Liaise closely with the business owner on planning and job delivery

Drive an MR truck to and from sites (must have current licence)

Assist with excavation, drainage, and landscaping where required

About you:

Qualified tradesman with experience in retaining wall and landscape construction

Specialised knowledge of retaining walls

MR truck licence is essential

Confident leading and mentoring a small team

Strong work ethic, eye for detail, and great communication

Experience in excavator and bobcat operations
