QGS Quality Geotechnical Services Pty Ltd has established itself in the Hunter and Central Coast Regions. We have many projects commencing 2025 and beyond, as well as our ongoing/current projects. We focus on “local work” Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments. Employees are based at our office and materials testing laboratory in Morisset NSW.

Due to continued growth we are currently seeking self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Soil Technicians (experienced and trainee levels) to join our team.

Full-time, Part time and Casual positions are available.

Main tasks:

As a Soil Technician, you will be required to undertake both field and laboratory testing across a broad range of test methods

Liaise with internal staff and contractors/clients

Follow site Health & Safety procedures

Relevant skills:

Strong analytical skills

Training Provided for Entry Level positions

Strong work ethic and reliability

Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling

Strong knowledge of Australian & TfNSW Test Methods for experienced technicians.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Level 1 Supervision experience advantageous

Relevant experience:

Positions available for all experience levels, including Entry Level (Trainee)

Trainee's will be offered a traineeship

Licence, registration or professional membership

Radiation Nuclear Densometer Licence or willingness to obtain one

OHS Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one

Drivers Licence
