About the role

What you'll be doing

• Performing regular data backups and restores to safeguard critical information
• Monitoring and troubleshooting data systems to identify and resolve issues
• Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support
• Analysing data trends and patterns to generate insights and recommendations for process improvements
• Maintaining detailed documentation on data management procedures and protocols
• Providing training and guidance to users on data-related policies and best practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Data Technician or in a similar data-focused role
• Strong technical skills in data management, including database administration, data backup and recovery, and data security
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues
• Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools to generate insights
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and well-organized data
• Certification or training in relevant data management technologies or frameworks would be an advantage
