🔩 Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble crane girders and structural components to precise specifications.

Operate and maintain Fronius FasTrack welding systems and other advanced fabrication equipment.

Work with engineering and QA teams to develop and refine semi-automated manufacturing processes.

Complete statutory inspections and condition assessments on overhead cranes and lifting equipment as required.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, welding standards (AS1554), and quality procedures.

Contribute to both workshop-based fabrication and site-based inspection and repair work across the Bowen Basin region.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

Extensive experience as a Boilermaker/Fabricator in heavy structural steel manufacturing, preferably involving cranes.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and deliver consistently high standards.

Strong understanding of welding and fabrication drawings.

Willingness to work on mine sites when required and complete lifting equipment inspections.

Must be able to pass and maintain a Coal Board Medical, including regular drug and alcohol testing, in line with mine site compliance.

Trade Qualified Boilermaker

Drivers Licence

Right to Work in Australia

Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical and D&A test

Experience in structural fabrication, ideally with cranes or heavy industrial equipment

Comfortable working both in the workshop and on-site at mine locations
