About the role
An Executive Officer working within the Agriculture and Water business unit will:
- Provide high-level quality secretarial support.
- Maintain quality control over Ministerial and other confidential correspondence.
- Research and co-ordinate background notes, responses to requests for information and briefings.
- Assist with financial reconciliations, preparation and maintenance of Business Unit records.
- Liaise with the Government Departments, private organisations, senior departmental staff and the general public.

- Proactive and intuitive – you have your finger on the pulse of the business unit and know what is needed to achieve goals.
- Experienced in providing confidential executive services.
- An excellent communicator with interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- An analytical thinker with proven ability to develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
