SJT Kustom & Mechanical are a family owned & run “one stop auto shop” in Caboolture South. Due to strong growth, we are looking for a Panel Beater who is highly skilled & proficient in all aspects of old school panel beating & repair procedures to join our restoration team.

Requirements:

Must be Certificate Level III in Automotive Body Repairs or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years’ experience, especially in rust repairs.

Strong technical skills in old school vehicle panel beating & repair techniques.

Fully proficient in use of panel beating tools and specialised equipment including English wheel, metal lathe, metal mill, guillotine, pan brake/ folder, sheet metal roller, porta power, shrinker stretcher, plenishing hammer, bead roller, ban saw, belt sander, grinders, panel beating hammers, metal dollies, sheers, pipe bender, MIG welder, TIG welder & ARCDROID CNC Plasma Robot.

Must be able to weld to a high level in Mig, Tig & Arc welding.

Ability to spray paint panels & vehicles in primer.

Exceptional attention to detail & a very high quality of work.

Strong work ethic, takes pride in their work & has a commitment to perfection.

Honesty and reliability are also very important traits to possess.

Must have excellent time management skills & be capable of working under pressure & meeting job timeframes.

Ability to communicate clearly.

Understanding of & willingness to abide by all safety practices.

Ability to work unsupervised & as part of a team.

Must be computer literate & have the ability to complete admin tasks related to the role.

Open manual Australian drivers licence essential.
