About the role

Diamond Air and Energy is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Narangba, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential air-conditioning systems. As a key member of our skilled technician team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients' air-conditioning equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration system faults
• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of air-conditioning systems
• Installing new air-conditioning systems and components
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and communication to clients
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

What we're looking for

• Formal trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic
• Minimum 1 years experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic in the residential and/or light commercial industry
• Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
