About the role

Chill-Tech Air Services is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician - Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team based in Ormeau, QLD. Traveling around the S.E coast between Brisbane and GC. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in diagnosis, maintenance and repairs to various types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for our commercial and residential clients. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Carry out warranty work for some of Australia's leading a/c brands

Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment

Install new air conditioning systems where required

Respond to emergency call-outs (optional)

Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards

Maintain accurate records, data entry and documentation

Provide exceptional customer service and support

What we're looking for

Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' qualified experience

Extensive knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently

Ability to train and work with apprentices

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (who thinks outside the box)

Commitment to safety and quality

Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (if required)

What You’ll Need

Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Valid ARC licence

Strong fault-finding ability, especially with inverter systems

Experience with brands such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung

Tech-savvy with software and computers

Current driver’s licence and White Card

Police check (upon request)
