About the role

We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at South QLD Refrigeration Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position and will involve hands-on installations work as well as the opportunity to complete a Electrical Apprenticeship*pending availability. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality refrigeration services to our valued customers. All work is in the construction industry so experience in construction is a must. We are a small team with a very high output and very high quality of work so working as part of a team whilst also being able to work productively by yourself is a must.

What you'll be doing

Undertaking a range of refrigeration installation, Commissioning across SEQ

Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in refrigeration equipment

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Providing excellent installation quality and liaising with builders throughout project delivery

What we're looking for

Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience

Strong working knowledge of commercial refrigeration installations

Ability to read and interpret plan diagrams, schematics and technical manuals

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety protocols

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the desire to continuously learn and develop your skills
