About the role
We are seeking an experienced Greenkeeper to join our team at The Green Horticultural Group in Fairfield, NSW. As a full-time Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our extensive golf and sportsturf areas, amenities turf and garden areas. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing for our clients and visitors.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out regular mowing, edging, and general maintenance of sportsturf, golf and amenity turf surfaces
Maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and other planted areas
Applying fertilisers, pesticides, and other turf maintenance practices as required
Identifying and addressing any plant health issues
Operating and maintaining turf maintenance tools and equipment
Assisting with larger facility improvement projects
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years as a Greenkeeper in a similar
Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of Turf maintenance equipment
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual outdoor work
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in Turf Management
