Wyong Leagues Group is a large friendly Central Coast based employer operating 12 venues across the state. We have an exciting new position that has been created for a Full Time Apprentice Bowling Greenkeeper. We are open to considering applications from apprentices in their first or second year of their Apprenticeship.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team, working predominately at Canton Beach Sports Club, with some travel to other Central Coast venues when required. The successful candidate will be completing their apprenticeship over a four year period, undertaking all roles to become a qualified tradesperson, and will be required to attend TAFE one day per week or block release as part of their employment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who is passionate about pursuing a career in bowling greens. The successful candidate will preferably have a current drivers licence and reliable vehicle, will be self-motivated, reliable and have the ability to take direction.

The role (is not limited to);

Weekday and weekend work will be required - 38 hours per week

Early starts required

All work will be conducted outdoors

Follow Work Health and Safety processes

Maintaining and renovating of greens

Green waste clearing and removal

Treatment of weeds/pests

Maintain machinery and tools

General gardening, lawn mowing, edging, brush cutting, pruning hedges and trees

Physically fit

TAFE is an important part of the role, therefore excellent attendance is necessary and great results are required.
