We are currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join the Balco logistics team based at Brookton, WA.

We pay a competitive above-award hourly rate combined with penalty rates and overtime opportunities.

Reporting to the Logistics & Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

Loading/unloading hay bales onto/from trucks and stacking in the storage facility

Complying with all Work Health Safety requirements

Ensuring accuracy and conformance with prestart checks and plant inspection processes

Regular review and maintenance of hygiene requirements in and around production facilities

Ensuring timely and safe movement of products within production and finished goods facilities

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of problems with plant and equipment

Ensuring a positive and professional attitude towards all team members

Providing timely and positive assistance to other team members to manage peaks in demand

The successful applicant(s) will need to possess the following attributes:

Education/Qualifications – required for Forklift and Loader Operation:

Formally assessed Competency based Work Permit (Loader Operations LL)

High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) (Desirable)

Crane High Risk License desirable (CN) (Desirable)

Previous Telehandler experience is highly regarded

Hay bale handling experience is desirable

Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety compliance

Flexibility and ability to respond pro-actively to changing environments

Sound verbal and written communication skills

Good skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office products

Good numeracy skills
