Are you a person who loves to solve problems and help people to navigate through claims processes to ensure better health outcomes? If you are, St Lukes Claims Department currently has multiple positions available for Claims Consultants specialising in processing and administration of Private Health Insurance Claims.
The Role
You will not be in it alone as our team Specialists are there to support you to provide accurate and timely management of claims. As you grow in your expertise, you will provide support and advice to providers, members and other staff internally.
Ideally, you will have administration experience within the health industry, experience in data entry and a good eye for detail. You will be naturally people focused and enjoy working in a busy environment, with the ability to self-manage and prioritise.
You will be highly motivated and flexible, demonstrating confidence in a changing environment, reliable, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and will take control of your own professional development through the many opportunities provided by the company (qualification and soft skills training).
Selection Criteria
To be the right fit for the role we need you to demonstrate:
2+ years’ in a similar administration role preferably in the health sector
An amazing ability to prioritise, problem solve and multi-task difficult situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability in navigating and adapting to constant change
Sound computer skills within the Microsoft Office suite and or specialised software applications, with proven ability to adapt to new programs
Positively contributing to a workplace environment which embraces respect and trust
Being a team player that can work autonomously when required
