The Role
This Senior Associate position is a key role within the firm's Sydney office, focusing on commercial litigation and client relationship management. You will handle complex legal matters, represent clients in court, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of litigious matters across Local, District, Supreme, and Federal Courts.
• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda of advice for clients.
• Attending court appearances, both in-person and virtually, across Australian jurisdictions.
• Mentoring junior solicitors and supporting staff to foster professional development.
  The role requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the Sydney office, with flexibility based on caseload demands.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and skilled legal professional with a passion for commercial litigation and client service. Essential requirements include:

• A current practising certificate with a minimum of 5+ years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Technical expertise in commercial dispute resolution, including winding up, bankruptcy, and preference claims.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with a focus on culture.
  You will also demonstrate leadership potential, with the ability to oversee staff, implement operational improvements, and contribute to the firm's growth strategy.
