Our client is a leading independent sponsor, advisor, investor, and manager of long-term, concession-based infrastructure projects, with expertise across a diverse range of sectors. With a proven track record that includes the successful delivery of over $15 billion in major development, among them some of Australia's most significant public-private partnerships, our client is now looking for an experienced and skilled Area Manager to join their growing team.

In this key role, the successful candidate will act as the client's on-site representative, working alongside some of the industry's most experienced executives. Candidates should bring a background in site management, project management, or engineering, ideally within commercial or residential construction environments.

This is an excellent opportunity offering an immediate start, based in Brisbane with regular on-site presence as required.

The Role

As Area Manager, you will lead the delivery of a major construction project, overseeing all site activities and reporting to the Project Manager. Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, coordinating Quantity Surveyor visits, facilitating safety audits, managing quality control, and preparing detailed reports. The role demands strong computer skills, attention to detail, effective teamwork, and regular on-site presence.

Experience required

• A proven track record in property management or a background in site management, project management, or engineering, with experience in the commercial or residential construction industry.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and comply with relevant contracts, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build, maintain, and influence relationships with diverse stakeholders, while being proactive and self-motivated to effectively manage reporting obligations and consistently meet deadlines.

• A tertiary qualification in a field related to construction, property development or trade
  background.

• 7 - 10 year's experience as a Site manager, Project Engineer or Project Manager.
