Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our friendly and professional team.

Role Overview:

As a Carpenter with Horizone Construction, you will be involved in all aspects of residential and commercial construction, including framing, fitting, formwork, and finish carpentry. You’ll work on-site with a team of experienced tradespeople and report to the Site Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials

Ensure work is completed to Australian standards and site safety regulations

Collaborate with other trades and site teams to meet deadlines

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Skills and Qualifications:

Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent (or overseas equivalent with Australian recognition)

Proven experience in residential or commercial construction for at least more than three years

Understanding of Australian building codes and safety standards

Ability to use hand and power tools with confidence

Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Reliable, physically fit, and capable of working outdoors

White Card (Construction Induction Certificate)

Driver’s license and own transport preferred
