We are currently seeking a carpenter or builder to join our growing Sydney based team. This position can be a full time role employed directly through Eagle Developments or working full time as a Pty Ltd. The choice is yours!

You will be working alongside our current qualified builders, carpenters and tradespeople on our commercial fitout projects, minor building works and general reactive maintenance jobs.

The scope of work we cover is quite broad so you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of fit outs and general maintenance. You will be expected to take part in a multitude of work including demolition, plastering, framing, concreting, joinery, flooring etc. You would be using our job management app which helps maintain communication and compliance between the office and field staff. Generally you will be moving between different sites each day across the Greater Sydney Region.

We specialise in the following:

1. Commercial maintenance Australia wide
2. Commercial/Office/Retail fit outs
3. Minor building works across multiple commercial clients
4. Kitchen and bathroom refurbishments (commercial and residential)
5. Internal residential refurbishments/renovations
6. Project and Site management

The ideal applicant will need to be:

1. Willing to learn and take instructions
2. An understanding that the position requires involvement in all types of building and not just carpentry works.
3. Confident to supervise other trades
4. Show leadership and help manage minor projects
5. Work in a safe and appropriate manner
6. Reliable, presentable, polite and punctual
7. Able to read and interpret plans
8. Self-motivated but able to work as part of the team
9. Willing to attend our office in Peakhurst once a day
10. Fluent in English language, reading and writing
11. A Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate IV in Building (preferred but not mandatory)
12. Have a clear National Police record (other than driving offenses)
