About the Role:

As a Carpenter/Builder, you will be involved in both small- and large-scale renovations, as well as handling repairs and maintenance across a variety of domestic and commercial properties in the Gold Coast and South Brisbane areas. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with plenty of room for career progression. You’ll be joining a great team and will be well-supported every step of the way.

You will need to be open and adaptable in using our field management software, ServiceM8, and embrace this as a key part of our workflow. You will also need to attend weekly team huddles/toolbox meetings, sometimes in person and sometimes virtually, to stay connected with the team. Additionally, you will be expected to refer to and follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Help manage small and large scale renovation projects and ensure repairs and maintenance meet high-quality standards.

Perform a wide range of carpentry and general building tasks across domestic and commercial properties.

Liaise with suppliers to manage materials and resources for projects efficiently.

Follow job instructions and the scope of works to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Use ServiceM8 field management software to stay organised and on track with tasks.

Attend weekly team huddles/toolbox meetings and actively engage with the team, both virtually and in person when required.

Refer to and follow company SOPs for consistency, quality, and operational efficiency.

About You – The Ideal Candidate:

Trade qualification in carpentry or at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge and skillset in carpentry, building maintenance, and general building work.

Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a high level of competence and reliability.

Comfortable managing materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure efficient workflows.

Detail oriented, with the ability to follow instructions accurately and meet project specifications.

Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and approachable attitude.

Current driver’s license and white card.

Passionate about growth, continuous learning, and working with new technologies to enhance efficiency.

Open to using ServiceM8 and willing to adapt to new tools and processes.

Willingness to attend team huddles/toolbox meetings and actively engage with the team.

A strong commitment to following SOPs to maintain quality and consistency in all work.

Salary & Benefits:

💰 Competitive salary range of $80–$100k + super, based on experience.
