Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll

Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

Monitor project budgets and cost tracking

Assist with tax preparation and compliance

Liaise with external auditors and financial institutions as required

Maintain and improve internal financial processes and controls

Requirements:

Proven experience as an accountant bookkeeper, preferably within the construction or property development sector

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB)

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Home owner warranty compliance and pipeline calculations

Desirable:

Familiarity with construction project costing
