About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Learning Technologist to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge STEAM-based learning resources and technology integration. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive innovation, support teacher development, and collaborate with schools, industry, and community partners in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of technology-rich STEAM programs and digital learning resources
• Inspire and mentor Tech School staff and educators through professional development
• Integrate emerging technologies such as CAD, CNC, VR/AR, and electronics into learning experiences
• Build strategic partnerships with schools, industry, and community stakeholders
• Ensure safe, compliant use of technologies and manage procurement and asset processes
• Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in education and/or a technology-enabled field
• Minimum 4 years' experience designing and delivering STEAM-based programs
• Expertise in technologies such as CAD, CNC, VR/AR, electronics, and digital design
• Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogies including Project-Based Learning and Design Thinking
• Proven leadership in team development and professional learning delivery
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  
• A National Police Check
