About the Role
Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Learning Technologist to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge STEAM-based learning resources and technology integration. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive innovation, support teacher development, and collaborate with schools, industry, and community partners in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of technology-rich STEAM programs and digital learning resources
- Inspire and mentor Tech School staff and educators through professional development
- Integrate emerging technologies such as CAD, CNC, VR/AR, and electronics into learning experiences
- Build strategic partnerships with schools, industry, and community stakeholders
- Ensure safe, compliant use of technologies and manage procurement and asset processes
- Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in education and/or a technology-enabled field
- Minimum 4 years' experience designing and delivering STEAM-based programs
- Expertise in technologies such as CAD, CNC, VR/AR, electronics, and digital design
- Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogies including Project-Based Learning and Design Thinking
- Proven leadership in team development and professional learning delivery
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
