Overview

Exciting and challenging roles are available for self-motivated and innovative experienced Registered Nurses looking to step up to the next level and join the Emergency Department team at the Southern Fleurieu Health Service as we approach moving into our brand new department! With excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to responsive person-centred care, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality patient care within the Emergency Department. With the opportunity to use a variety of skills, your duties will involve assessing patients’ needs, planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery options and communicating changes in condition and care. Striving to improve patient health outcomes, you will monitor client care plans and participate in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. Being part of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network means you will be supported both personally and professionally, have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.

You will need to be registered currently with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. A team player with the demonstrated ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments, you will bring a proven track record in working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines. Post graduate Critical Care/Emergency qualifications are highly desirable or the intent to complete these studies.
