About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1), you will provide nursing services in various health service settings. This role is ideal for nurses developing from novice practitioners to proficient professionals. You will consolidate your knowledge and skills, enhancing your capability through continuous professional development and experience. At this level, you are accountable for your own standards of nursing care and for any activities delegated to others, ensuring high-quality care in every aspect of your practice.
As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings, drawing on your consolidated experience and/or further study. You will develop from a competent to proficient practitioner while taking responsibility for your own practice standards and the activities you delegate to others. Additionally, you will guide and support less experienced staff to foster their professional growth. Although the role remains predominantly clinical in nature, you will also be assigned portfolio responsibilities, which will be negotiated and aligned with your individual career development plan.
What We’re Looking For:
RN/M1
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
RN/M2C
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
