R Marine Jones is a well established Riviera Motor Yacht dealer based in the marine precinct on the Gold Coast that is looking to expand their experienced team. The position is "Warranty and Service Technician" that will require the following;

-Familiar understanding of Riviera or larger luxury Motor Yachts such as Belize, Princess, Sunseeker and Horizon from 36-100 feet.

- General boating experience and history on and off water.

- 240V License is preferred, but not necessary. (This job is not primarily a electrical role, but 240V qualification will be used from time to time.

-High level of knowledge on 12/24v circuits commonly fitted to late model Riviera motor yachts and alike.

-Some/high knowledge of C ZONE operation and system understanding.

-Good knowledge of Ship/Shore power charging and inverting systems such as Mastervolt.

- Ability to remote log on for troubleshooting, understand and setup networks, ability to input and update live daily job/labour progress.

-Good understanding of Marine standards i.e. fitting out of hardware, underwater sealing, bracing, accessibility, serviceability, fault Investigations and repairing.

-General understanding of vessel plumbing systems and skills to investigate and repair salt and fresh water leaks.

-General Mechanical and engineering understanding to report and manage marine mechanics.

-Replacement/instalment/retro fitment of general hardware such as catches, lights, handles, seals and filters.

-Removal and refitment of internal and external cabinetry for investigation.

-High level of computer knowledge and prompt skills to create an email chain with clear communication to suppliers and customers, such as assisting with organising parts for warranty jobs with manufacturers.

-Manage and carry out quality control process of new motor yachts which includes the oversight and assistance right up until customer handover. ( including sea trials at new build stage.)

-Ability to work unsupervised, structure a day plan and manage priority jobs assigned by Manager.

-Ability to take after hours support calls for over the phone troubleshooting and possible emergency resolutions.

-Ability to continue to uphold professional relations within industry partners and contractors.

-Needs to be retail friendly, clean and tidy, fit, healthy, willing to help clients and other staff past their job description and flexible to reach in tight working areas.

-General work hours are 8-4 Mon - Friday.

-Includes vehicle and phone for successful applicant.
