The Prancing Pony Brewery is now looking for a Venue Manager, a person with the drive to lead a dedicated and friendly team and to create exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction.

The position:

The Venue Manager will oversea all operational aspects of the 120 seat Brewery restaurants and beer garden and the Events that are presented at the venue. Success in the position means to embrace the existing Pony spirit, and to create and develop new magical experiences for locals, and visitors, alike. To lead, develop and mentor the team and to work collaboratively with brewery staff to cultivate an inclusive work environment.

The position is a full-time, permanent position (with perks) based in the Adelaide Hills

Responsibilities:

This position represents a unique offering for a service-focused person.

To manager all Front and Back of House operations of the restaurant.

Lead and motivate the team to create a collaborative working culture.

Manage the POS and CRM system, bookings and stock control.

Train, educate and roster staff for effective service delivery.

Develop and explore new beverage offers and menu updates.

Manage budgets, furbish financial reports, and identify expense control measures.

Drive and implement company policies.

Desired attributes, skills and experiences:

Experience in managing similar sized venue(s), with preferably 5 to 10 years experience in Hospitality.

Motivated and confident, thirsty for knowledge, and with a proven track record of building successful teams.

Excellent communication skills and great personal presentation.

Love for customer facing activities and willingness to get hands dirty with no job to small attitude.

An eye for details and a flair to make a place look cosy, welcoming and cool.

Great organisational skills, proactive attitude, ready to take on a significant level of responsibility.

A passion for Craft Beer is desirable and a love for service excellent is a must.

Education / Qualifications

Trade or equivalent qualifications are desirable.

RSA and Responsible Person certificate are a must.

Full driver's licence required.
