About the Role

We're currently seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Supervisor to lead and manage transport operations for a well-established company specialising in the delivery of gas tanks and cylinders. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient coordination of delivery activities and is a great opportunity to transition from casual to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day transport operations, including driver management and dispatching.
• Maintain compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and all transport regulations.
• Oversee on-time and in-full delivery (OTIF) of gas cylinders across designated areas.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment checks, manage incident reporting, and support safety investigations.
• Lead toolbox talks, pre-starts, and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Monitor delivery performance, track KPIs, and report deviations to site leadership.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve service efficiency and resolve operational issues.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a transport or delivery supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of transport regulations, CoR, and driver compliance.
• Familiarity with gas cylinders, dangerous goods, or hazardous materials (desirable).
• Current driver's licence; forklift or DG licence advantageous.
