This Australian owned Civil Contractor is looking for a Senior Estimator to lead and develop a small team in the business that is continually growing and diversifying. The primary objective of the role will be to manage and co-ordinate the preparation of Construction estimates for submission of tenders, including recommendations regarding construction techniques, engineering procedures and the utilization of new technology.

Projects can range up to $100M, incorporate: Earthworks, concrete slabs / structures, for local projects around south east QLD and rural mining and renewable projects. There will be a element of business development, strategic planning, managing a small team to ensure tenders are accurately priced and formalised to meet deadlines.

The role will include:

• Preparing accurate tenders on projects,

• First principle estimating,

• Project programming & analysis of the tender documentation.

• Supervise and develop support staff such as estimators and engineering assistants.
