Civwil are recruiting for a Civil Works Supervisor for a project based in Brisbane, immediate start available.

As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily operations. This includes assigning tasks to the appropriate labour and operator teams, effectively communicating progress and any challenges to the management and/or Principal on-site, and ensuring that a safe working environment is consistently maintained.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Long-term work on new projects based in Brisbane area

$50.00 per hour depending on experience plus penalties

Vehicle Provided

Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directing and leading Labourers, Machine Operators, Subcontractors and Suppliers on site

Communicating effectively with the team on daily priorities

Maintain daily record of site activities

Conducting toolbox talk and taking minutes

Hands on approach

Operating machines when required

TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum 3 years of experience within Civil Construction Industry

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Civil Leading Hand or equivalent leadership experience

Valid driver’s license with reliable transport

Construction White Card

Excavator ticket

Up-to-date first aid and CPR training
