Credit Officer | Greystanes | $75,000 - $80,000

The Role:
Reporting to a down-to-earth and supportive Credit Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your ledger and play a key role in managing credit risk and maintaining healthy cash flow. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own end-to-end ledger
• Proactively collecting and following up on overdue accounts
• Reducing DSO and improving payment cycles
• Conducting credit checks and opening new accounts
• Managing credit holds and releases
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
• Reconciling customer accounts and handling disputes promptly
• Flagging potential cash flow concerns early
• Ensuring master data is up to date and accurate
• Assisting with month-end close and ensuring the subledger aligns with the GL

The Candidate:
You're an experienced Credit professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You're confident, organised, and not afraid to pick up the phone. You enjoy problem-solving and take pride in building positive relationships with customers and internal teams. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrated credit experience (ideally in a high-volume or manufacturing environment)
• A results-driven approach with the ability to effectively manage and reduce DSO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Confidence in liaising with key stakeholders and customers
• A proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail
• SAP experience (highly regarded but not essential)
