ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, planning, and overseeing projects across stormwater management, flooding, subdivisions, roads and carparks where you will contribute to the development of vibrant communities. You will collaborate and liaise with multiple stakeholders throughout the successful delivery of projects.
DUTIES.
- Design and develop projects, including roads, drainage systems, urban developments, residential subdivisions, retail, and entertainment precincts
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, reports, and documentation in compliance with local regulations and standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project execution
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project approvals and progress
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in civil engineering, preferably within the Australian market.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, HECRAS, TUFLOW, 12D, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
