2XM Recruit are a leading Trades & Engineering recruitment company and our client is a nationwide manufacturing facility who has experienced unprecedented growth over the past 17 years. We have a great opportunity for a Shift Team Leader/Leading Hand to join our team.

We are looking for experienced Team Leaders to join our client’s facility in Canning Vale, ideally who have worked in a manufacturing environment. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Operations Manager.

Location; Canning Vale
Shifts; 6am – 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am. Weekend work available.
Salary; $40 per hour plus superannuation.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing your team to meet production needs efficiently
• Should have a mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Troubleshooting production issues and collaborating with maintenance personal to minimise downtime
• Reporting production progress and challenges to management
• Reporting and following company’s OH&S regulations

Requirements

• Proven background in factory of manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics manufacturing
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to influence and mentor members of your team
• Prioritising and organising your work to meet deadlines
• Strong numeracy and accuracy
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Experience working with production machinery is preferred
