As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced 2IC to support the Warehouse Manager in a small site with only 3-4 warehouse staff.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Team Leader / Supervisor with previous experience in warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with managing a small warehouse team, in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support: Assist the Warehouse Manager in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from receipt to dispatch.

Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stocktakes and ensuring proper storage and handling of products. Assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Order Fulfilment: Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize order fulfilment processes.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards. Ensure forklift pre-op checklists are completed daily by staff and assist the Manager with daily toolbox meetings and records.

Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, transport providers, and other departments within PAC Trading. Ensure effective communication and coordination between the warehouse team and other business units.

Reporting: Assist the Warehouse Manager in preparing and analysing operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to monitor and improve warehouse performance.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leader role

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and safety regulations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in admin and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment is essential.
