Overview:

The Maintenance Fitter plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant operations. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance activities, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to long-term equipment reliability strategies. You will work within a Team with over 2 decades of combined experience which will allow you to learn and lean on for guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• Identify and resolve machinery issues using diagnostic tools and effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Apply expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic systems for optimal equipment functionality.
• Work closely with operations teams to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns, ensuring high-quality repairs to minimise downtime.
• Maintain thorough shift reports and update the CMMS to ensure accurate data tracking.

Background:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade:
• Previous experience as a Apprentice or Maintenance Fitter within Industrial or FMCG is advantageous
• A positive do attitude, able to take direction and ability to learn new skills are a must
