About the Job

As a seed analyst your primary responsibility will be to:

Test seed and grain according to AgQWA procedures to support customers with decision making and compliance.

Assist in maintaining the quality system

As part of a new business you will be expected to conduct some general administration, greeting customers and answering the phone.

You will also be expected to:

Work well with other team members;

Connect with customers in a friendly and helpful way;

Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and tidy workspace; and

Comply with our quality standards;

The position will start with 3 part days a week, but it has the potential to grow into a full time position or remain part time.

There is potential for the position to expand into different areas of testing and/or different types of work depending on the individual.

About you

Previous experience in science, agriculture, a seed laboratory or another relevant area preferable but not essential.

You have general mathematical and computer skills.

You have good organisational skills

Availability to travel for training.

You enjoy ongoing learning and are comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.

You can work independently and show a high level of initiative.

You’re an effective communicator who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to work well with other team members and connect with customers.
