About the role
Our National Centre Services Advisors work collaboratively with Primary Health Networks, Lead Agencies and headspace Centre Managers to establish new headspace centres and other associated services for young people and their communities across Australia. As a part of the Centre Services team you ensure that headspace services operate in accordance with the headspace Centre Service Model by regularly assessing model integrity via the headspace Model Integrity Framework (hMIF).
The Advisors support the ongoing operation of headspace services through quality improvement activities, resources and support to ensure headspace services are developed and delivered in accordance with the headspace model.
Who we're looking for
You are a highly motivated individual with experience and knowledge in developing, managing and delivering health services to young people. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you have the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. You possess the skills and knowledge to assess the readiness of headspace centres/services to commence operation in accordance with headspace requirements and will be able to provide guidance and support in service implementation.
This role will require travel; therefore the incumbent must possess the willingness and capability to travel interstate.
headspace is seeking someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a health management or mental health-related discipline (for example, psychology, social work, health administration) or commensurate experience in a health-related area.
- Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement, model fidelity assessment, and service standards in the health sector.
- Experience in implementing quality improvement programs and utilising change management principles to support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Understanding of the mental health service system in Australia and the delivery of mental health services through primary care, specialist mental health service providers and nongovernment agencies.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in utilising change management principles to support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Current drivers licence.
- Capacity to undertake interstate travel.
