About the role

JRM Painting Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Sydney, NSW on a contract basis. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to a variety of surfaces, including interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and other architectural features. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and priming as required

Applying paint, stains, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment

Ensuring a high standard of finish by carefully applying paint and maintaining a clean, tidy work area

Collaborating with the team to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient project completion

Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Painter, preferably in the commercial or residential sectors

Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship

Proficient in the use of painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, and spray guns

Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint types, and application methods

Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
