NSW Government is looking for multiple Assessors to process applications for grants and other funding programs for those affected by recent natural disasters.

3 Month Contract

ASAP Start

Hybrid work - reporting to office 2 days per week (either Gosford or Parramatta location)

$37.33/ hour + super

7 hours/day (between operational hours of 8am-5pm) Mon - Fri

As an Assessor, your primary tasks will focus on supporting customers with a variety of complex issues; gathering information and determining outcomes; and communicating these outcomes to the customers.

You will:

undertake assessments on matters to make accountable determinations to facilitate appropriate client/customer outcomes by applying relevant knowledge, legislation, regulations and procedures;

provide timely and accurate information and advice to customers on determination outcomes to ensure positive customer experiences;

provide administrative services, respond to enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency to support quality customer service outcomes.

Your daily tasks will involve:

✔️ Assessing applications, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
✔️ Providing clear, professional, and empathetic customer support
✔️ Resolving escalated issues, including complaints and correspondence

About You

Bonus points if you have:

Experience in high-volume customer service (face-to-face or phone)

Knowledge of grants, rebates, or vouchers (training available)

Familiarity with Salesforce or Genesys (helpful, but not required)
