About the Role
We are looking for a Training and Knowledge Management Lead to guide the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of training programs for a critical Defence logistics system. This is a leadership role suited to a person who thrives on developing people, managing stakeholder relationships, and refining training through data-driven insights.
You’ll lead a small team, oversee training lifecycle activities, and champion best practices in Defence learning environments. From training needs analysis to deploying programs via eLearning platforms, your work will directly support capability and sustainment across the Defence sector.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
Defence sector experience (2+ years desirable)
Experience with Defence eLearning platforms (Desirable)
Familiarity with Naval Logistics Information Systems (Desirable)
AGSVA Security Clearance (Baseline or higher required)
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of training and knowledge professionals
Create and manage Training Needs Analyses (TNA), Training Requirements Specifications (TRS), and Learning Management Packages (LMP)
Deliver training through platforms such as Learn eXcel Perform (LXP)
Monitor training effectiveness using learner data, feedback, and analytics
Improve training systems and materials based on real-world outcomes
Promote innovation, standardisation, and knowledge sharing
Manage training resources, schedules, and stakeholder relationships
Ensure compliance with Defence policies and training standards
