Seeking a detail orientated, CPA/CA qualified, Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a leading public sector organisation for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, with the view to transition to permanent.

Description

• Prepare month-end reconciliations, journals, and financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee lease accounting
• Analyse financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support finance improvement initiatives and policy development
• Prepare BAS and FBT returns

Profile

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting
• CA or CPA accreditation
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Experience in not-for-profit, healthcare, or government sectors (desirable)
