The Opportunity

As the Cold Store Supervisor of our Lobethal operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cold storage facility. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient storage of our products, maintaining optimal temperatures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring that all processes are executed effectively and efficiently.

About The Role

Supervise daily operations of the cold storage facility, monitor temperature & humidity levels

Implement & maintain quality control measures to ensure product integrity

Manage inventory control, including stock rotation & accurate record-keeping

Train, mentor, and supervise cold store staff, fostering a positive & productive work environment

Collaborate with other departments, including production & logistics, to ensure seamless operations

Conduct regular inspections & audits of the cold store facility, resolve any issues related to cold storage operations promptly and efficiently

Ensure compliance with all company policies, health, and safety regulations

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

Experience in a supervisory role within a cold storage or meat processing environment is preferred

Strong understanding of food safety standards and cold storage operations

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Good communication skills, both verbal and written
