We are working with a mid-sized law firm is looking for an experienced IT Support & Applications Specialist to join their internal tech team. The role focuses on day-to-day support across desktop and application environments, as well as ongoing maintenance and improvement of key legal systems.
You'll be supporting a range of end users including lawyers and support staff across hardware, software, and core business applications. The environment is fast paced but supportive, with the opportunity to get involved in project work and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1–2 technical support across desktop, mobile, and remote environments;
- Support legal applications including iManage, Aderant, inMailX, and PDF Docs;
- Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange, and Active Directory;
- Assist with onboarding and basic user training for new starters;
- Work with external vendors to resolve software issues and manage escalations;
- Contribute to software testing, documentation, and system updates; and
- Maintain accurate records of issues, changes, and resolutions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a similar IT support role, ideally within legal or professional services;
- Familiarity with legal software (e.g. iManage, Aderant) is a strong advantage;
- Confident troubleshooting technical issues across Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11;
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users; and
- Strong communication skills and a practical, organised approach to work.
