About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Strategist to join our fast-paced team based in Essendon, Melbourne.

In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll take ownership of the client from lead to strategy and conversion. There’s no prospecting required – just quality leads, a great support structure, and a high-conversion environment.

What You’ll Get

Base salary of $100,000

Commission on up-fronts (OTE up to $300K)

A structured pipeline of quality leads with 80% conversion

Exposure to a wide variety of loan structures

Your own team of loan writers and VAs

What You’ll Do

Create mortgage strategies for a steady stream of pre-qualified clients

Handle complex loan types including SMSF, complex investors, trust structures

Collaborate with their loan writer team to bring deals to life

Liaise with lenders, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless client journey

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mortgage broking firm

Completed Cert IV and Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking

Demonstrated experience with SMSF lending and second-tier lenders

Experience working under a property-focused broking group or advisory

High attention to detail and a passion for delivering great client outcomes

Comfortable working full-time in-office (Essendon-based)
