As the OSHC Coordinator, you will lead day-to-day operations, develop educational programs, and maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere for children, families, and school staff. You’ll be supported by an Assistant Coordinator and a Portfolio Manager.

Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish Outside School Hours Care is an integral part of the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish and school community and has been in operation for the past 20 years.

We provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 105 children and work together to support the needs of children, families and staff by providing a safe environment for children to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
• Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
• Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
• Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.

Requirements of the Role:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
