Job Description
We're excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced and passionate Mobile Coordinator to join our growing Regional Leadership Team in the Gladstone region. This permanent fulltime opportunity plays pivotal role will work closely with our Regional Manager (RM) and Service Coordinators to uplift and support our nine OSHC services. With a strong focus on enhancing service delivery, strengthening compliance, and supporting our teams, these positions are vital to our commitment to quality and growth. As we prepare for future expansion in the region, we’re looking for dynamic leaders ready to make a meaningful impact.
You’ll be a key player in:
- Supporting the creation and implementation of SIPs and Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)
- Stepping into Responsible Person (RP) roles during Holiday Programs and as required during Term.
- Assisting services by filling staffing gaps with professionalism and consistency
- Elevating programs through extended learning opportunities and pilot initiatives
- Providing guidance and support in behaviour management and inclusion strategies
- Ensuring all services operate in alignment with JAG policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the RSM and coordinators to deliver consistent, high-quality service across the region
- Assist with leadership responsibilities and operational oversight, including RP roles
- Champion SIPs and QIPs, driving meaningful quality improvement aligned with the NQF
- Provide expert input and modelling around behaviour guidance practices
- Support services to implement innovative and pilot programs that reflect children’s interests and voices
- Ensure all services meet compliance standards and operate in line with JAG policy and procedures
- Foster professional growth in team members through mentorship and collaborative practice
- Build meaningful relationships with families, children, and local communities
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as an OSHC Coordinator or Director/Assistant Director or Teacher in a similar early childhood or school-age care setting
- Diploma or higher-level qualifications relevant to working with children in OSHC as per ACECQA (or working towards).
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, MTOP, and service compliance
- Passion and skill in behaviour support, inclusive practices, and team mentorship
- Creativity and confidence in leading program extension and innovation
- Flexibility and reliability to work across multiple services
- Commitment to upholding and modelling JAG policies and procedures
