About the role

We are seeking an experienced concrete repair and maintenance team member to join our dynamic team at Zuke Constructions in Sunbury, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for carrying out QA checks and all maintenance/ repairs of concrete works across our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out the maintenance and repairs of concrete slabs on our construction sites

Developing and implementing QA processes for concrete works

Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Liaising with concreting teams, site supervisors and subcontractors to identify and resolve any quality issues

Documenting all QA checks and any maintenance that is required

Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar QA or concreting maintenance role within the construction industry

Thorough understanding of concrete construction standards, and quality control best practices

Be able to read plans, use laser and power tools required for concrete maintenance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with teams and supervisors at all levels

Proficient in the use of technology (emails, spreadsheets, online forms)

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or individually
