Our client, a well-funded Federal government department requires a Lead Enterprise Solutions Architect to work on scalable and secure AWS/Azure cloud environments with a focus on automation, performance optimisation, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose and align solutions with Agency goals and objectives.
• Engaging with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, development team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains.
• Monitor and assess the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies, legacy systems, and technical debt, and recommend improvements.
• Provide enterprise guidance through governance activities, reference models, and architecture standards to ensure alignment with future-state visions.
• Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of IT platforms, including performance assessments, patching, and system integration planning.
• Accountable for documentation, knowledge management and architecture visualisation.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Architecture experience with broad technical knowledge, including demonstrable experience leading the design of complex enterprise cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-level multi-cloud infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and architectural standards.
• Ability to motivate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders including executives, and provide architectural governance in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Evidence of applying government security frameworks, ITSM practices, and performance engineering in enterprise-level multi-cloud infrastructure.
