Are you passionate about helping projects succeed. The City of Bunbury is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Project Support Officer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
This dynamic role supports the effective delivery of organisational projects by supporting project managers in the use our project management software system. You’ll work closely with project teams across the organisation to ensure the system continues to meet user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation, configuration and ongoing improvement of the City's project software system.
Provide training and user support to staff using project systems and PMO tools.
Monitor project progress and generate reports for internal stakeholders.
Liaise with IT and software vendors to resolve technical issues.
Conduct data quality checks and system testing and gather user feedback.
Assist with change management activities related to system rollout.
Maintain user access, configuration updates and system records.
Develop training materials and support continuous improvement efforts.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
Experience working with project management tools or enterprise software systems.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately.
Confidence delivering training and supporting users of varying technical skill levels.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to team-wide improvements.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: Level 5 ($89,414 per annum) under the City of Bunbury Employee’s 2024 Enterprise Agreement.
Contract Duration: 10 months (Maternity Cover) of meaningful work with a supportive team.
