The Opportunity

Our Kalgoorlie Office is looking for a motivated candidate who is interested in providing excellent customer service for the WA regional community. You will be working with a fantastic team in a fast-paced customer focused environment delivering a wide range of services across the region as a Regional Officer.

In this diverse role that involves engaging with the local community, your duties will include working along the coast and on the water to inspect boats and jetties, conducting practical driving assessments, On Demand transport vehicle checks and travel to remote sites to educate colleagues, stakeholders, and the Public on a wide range of Transport Services. You will also provide information and respond to customer enquiries in accordance with governing Acts, regulations, policy and procedures, licensing issues and rules and marine safety.

There is currently 1 x fixed term position available for immediate filling until the 17th of September, with the possibility of extension(s) or permanency.

Requirements of the position

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence. It is also desirable to have a Recreational Skipper’s Ticket and/or a Certificate of Competency (Coxswain) or be working towards obtaining one.
